1. Purpose

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for paid services offered by KanooniHelpConsumer.com. The applicable terms may vary depending on the service purchased, the work agreed, and any specific service agreement or order confirmation.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Initial Enquiries

Submitting a complaint or making an initial enquiry does not, by itself, create a paid engagement.

Where an initial assessment is offered without charge, no fee is payable for that assessment unless a charge was clearly disclosed and accepted in advance.

If a service carries a fee, the amount and scope should be communicated before payment.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you have paid for a service and wish to cancel before work begins, contact us promptly using the contact details below. We will review the request against the service terms, the stage of the engagement, any disclosed cancellation conditions, and applicable law.

Where a refund is due, it will be processed in accordance with the applicable terms and legal requirements.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Started

If work has already begun, the amount refundable, if any, will depend on the service agreement, the work completed, any properly disclosed non-recoverable third-party costs, and applicable law. We will not treat an undisclosed charge or an unlawful deduction as automatically payable merely because a service was initiated.

Where appropriate, we may provide an explanation of the work completed and the calculation used for any refund.

5. Services Already Completed

A refund is not automatically available solely because:

  • A company has rejected the underlying complaint.
  • A government authority has not taken the action requested.
  • A complaint has not achieved the desired outcome.
  • The consumer changes their preferred outcome after agreed work has been completed.

However, the absence of a guaranteed outcome does not remove any refund or other right that may arise under applicable law, the service agreement, or a failure to provide the agreed service.

6. Third-Party Fees and Expenses

Government filing charges, court or commission fees, advocate fees, expert fees, travel expenses, and other third-party costs may be subject to separate terms.

Any such charge must be disclosed and authorised as applicable. Refunds of third-party charges may depend on the rules of the relevant provider or authority.

We will explain the treatment of these amounts where they form part of the agreed service.

7. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe that you have made a duplicate payment or have been charged an incorrect amount, contact us with the transaction details. We will review the available records and arrange any refund due through the appropriate payment method, subject to verification and applicable requirements.

Please do not send passwords, PINs, one-time passwords, or complete payment card credentials.
