Our process

Six steps to understand your options

Every complaint is assessed individually. The right route depends on the facts, available evidence, applicable procedures and the organisation or forum concerned.

01📝

Submit your complaint

Tell us what happened, which company or organisation is involved, what product or service you used, and what resolution you are seeking.

What to expect: Acknowledgement after successful receipt.
02🔎

Initial review

We review the details you provide to understand the grievance and identify missing information. We may contact you for clarification or relevant records.

What to expect: Initial understanding and any information requests.
03🧭

Identify possible options

Based on the available facts, we consider possible grievance channels such as the company’s grievance team, a helpline, regulator or Consumer Commission.

What to expect: Possible routes and their limitations.
04📋

Agree on the service

Before paid work begins, review the proposed scope, fees, documents, responsibilities, exclusions and terms. Separate professional legal services require a separate engagement where applicable.

What to expect: Clear service terms before proceeding.
05📨

Pursue agreed next steps

Within the agreed scope, assistance may include organising complaint details, preparing agreed documents and identifying the appropriate submission channel.

What to expect: Assistance with agreed actions—not a promised result.
06🔁

Understand follow-up options

Where follow-up is included, we help you understand updates and consider further options if the initial grievance route does not resolve the issue.

What to expect: Guidance within the agreed service scope.

Good to know

Before you get started

Here are a few important points to keep in mind throughout the process.

Does submitting a complaint mean a government authority has accepted it?

No. A submission acknowledgement confirms receipt by the platform only. It does not confirm acceptance by a government authority or Consumer Commission.

Will my complaint definitely be resolved?

No particular outcome, refund, compensation or action can be guaranteed. Outcomes depend on the evidence, applicable law, responses from other parties and decisions by the relevant authority or forum.

Will I know the fees before paid work starts?

The proposed service scope, applicable fees, documentation requirements, responsibilities and exclusions should be explained before a paid engagement begins.

Do I always need an advocate?

Not every consumer complaint requires an advocate. Whether separate professional legal assistance is appropriate depends on the complexity and stage of the matter and should be assessed individually.

What if my matter is urgent?

Legal deadlines may apply. For urgent financial fraud or unauthorised transactions, contact your bank, payment provider or the relevant official reporting channel promptly. Do not wait for a response from this platform.
